During your consultation our eyelash specialist will analyze your current lashes and then determine how much time will be required for application. Lash Extensions are a new exciting product and technique for thicker, longer, yet natural looking eyelashes. Eyelashes are made thicker and longer through professional application of individual synthetic eyelash onto your own natural eyelash with a specially formulated bonding agent. Lash extensions are not strip lashes or three pronged, cluster lashes. They are individual, synthetic hairs that look just like your own natural lash hairs.
Your lash extensions can last up to 4-8 weeks depending on how well you take care of them and depending on the natural growth of your own lashes. To keep your lash extensions full and looking their best and fullest, simple maintenance or “fill” appointments are needed about every 2 or 3 weeks. Similar to fingernails and the hair on your head, your individual eyelashes grow out on a continuous cycle.
You must be careful to avoid rubbing your eyes, or scratching. Also, any makeup removers, creams, cleansers or containing glycols or carbonates can loosen the bond of your custom Lash Extensions. You must be careful to apply eye cream sparingly and avoid the lash line area.
You can use water-soluble mascara safely, however constant use of mascara may reduce the longevity of your lashes. Waterproof mascara is NOT recommended as it will dissolve the lashes.
It varies. The cost of a full set of lashes may range anywhere from $100 to $300. Half sets and touch-ups are usually provided for a nominal fee.
